Joint Postdoctoral Researchers are recruiting that initiated from both Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) and National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS) of Canada

There are 3-5 Sino-Canadian joint postdoctoral researchers that are recruiting, which will be focused on experimental and theoretical research on advanced battery materials and devices. The details for recruitment are as follows:

The applicants should have:

1. Good spirit for teamwork and dedication;

2. Professionalism and responsibility with work hard;

3. Doctoral degree in material, physics,chemistry, electrochemistry, etc.;

4. Experience and background in the research of advanced battery materials and devices;

5. Sufficient communication and writing skills in English;

For the salary and others:

1. 200,000 and 300,000 Yuan/year for post-doctoral researcher, which is negotiable;

2. Provide an apartment in BJUT;

3. The applicant who are selected will carry out the research both in China and Canada;

4.Application for research funding is encouraged;

1. Personal resume (including the studying and working experience, research background, published papers, awards, etc.);

2. The certificate of Doctoral degree;

3. At least three letters for recommendation (one of which is offered by the doctoral supervisor)；

The Postdoctoral Researchers that employed will have a close collaboration with both Prof. Haijun Yu in BJUT and Prof. Shuhui Sun in INRS.

The Prof. Haijun Yu’s group was established since 2015 in the College of Materials Science and Engineering of BJUT, which is mainly focusing on the basic and applied research on advanced battery materials and devices, including lithium/sodium ion batteries, all solid-state batteries, and new electrochemical energy storage systems. There are plenty of advanced experimental instruments in the group. And some members of the group have worked more than 4 years in overseas, and have close cooperation with foreign countries. Prof. Shuhui Sun’s group in INRS is one of the important units on the research of new energy and new materials in Canada.
