2019年12月18日上午Cell Press期刊科学编辑Jiqing Sun 和Yan Li 博士来访实验室并作学术报告。

报告会由尉海军教授主持，首先由Cell Press 旗下期刊Matter 的科学编辑 Jiqing Sun 博士带来题为“Publishing with Cell Press in Material Science”的专题报告。

Sun 博士的报告内容介绍：

Matter is launched by Cell Press, sister journal to Cell, Chem and Joule. It is launched to publish high-profile papers in the field of material science, providing a platform for the innovative material papers from all fields, including bio-material, energy material and optical material, etc. The scope of Matter is based on the general field of material science, from nano- to macro-, fundamentals to application, encompassing the previously unknown and the innovative. As the flagship journal of Cell Press, Matter aims to be one of the leading journals in the material field, guiding the development of innovative materials. The first issue was officially released in July 2019.

Li 博士报告内容介绍：

Cell Reports Physical Science—a new broad-scope, open access journal from Cell Press—will be launched soon. It publishes cutting-edge research across the spectrum of the physical sciences, including chemistry, physics, materials science, energy science, engineering, and related interdisciplinary work. It will give authors the same level of editorial excellence and support that they expect from flagship journals such as Chem, Joule, and Matter.

As highly selective journals, Cell Reports Physical Science are devoted to contributing positive impact on physical science field and targeting to be one of the top-ranking open access journals just as Cell in the biological field.

Li 博士个人简历如下：

Dr. Yan Li received his PhD from Tsinghua University. He subsequently carried out postdoctoral studies at University of Houston and then at Wageningen University. His research program is mainly focused on material science and surface chemistry. In 2012, he joined Wiley publishing and was the editor of several journals, e.g., Advanced Functional Materials, Small and Chemistry-A European Journal. He joined Cell Press in 2019 and works in Beijing. Currently, he is the scientific editor of Cell Reports Physical Science.
